From 22 to 25 September 2026, Messe Essen will place an even stronger focus on the security and defence industry: EURO DEFENCE EXPO (EUDEX) will be held at the Essen exhibition grounds for the first time, in parallel with Security Essen. This will create a new international platform bringing together civil and military security solutions in one place. Another strong trade fair "made in Essen" is also using these synergies: SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN will present itself with a joint stand at EUDEX and show the role that joining, cutting and surfacing technologies play in modern defence applications.¨
